Securely Online- Shopping online with M6 Beds is an easy process. You can browse through our collections by selecting the shopping area you want by clicking on the name of the section you want to visit.

You can switch between shopping areas adding items your shopping cart by simply clicking the add to cart button next to the item you wish to buy. You will then be directed to the shopping cart page where you can either click the check out button to pay for your item securely online or if you wish to add further items simply click continue shopping and this will return you to the previous page.

Every time you add an item to the cart the website will add up your order until you are ready to check out. You can check out at any time by clicking the check out link which can be located at the top of every page.

You can return to the homepage at any time by clicking on the Home button at the top of every page.

For your security, none of the financial details you give us will be stored - you will need to re-enter your financial details every time you buy something from us. We will not use or pass on any of the details contained under your account details, except to process your order, so you can be assured that your information is safe and secure with us.

What is the checkout?
Just as in a normal retail store the online checkout is where you can submit your order. You will be taken through a short step-by-step process to tell us address and fill in your payment details. When you click 'checkout' you offer to buy the goods in your shopping cart subject to the Terms and Conditions. Then we will e-mail you to confirm your order. As soon as your order for home furnishing or accessories is accepted we will debit your account.

Delivery of Goods In General:
On receipt of your order we will send a confirmation including our Terms and Conditions by e-mail. If you do not receive a confirmation within 72 hours please contact our Sales Office immediately on 0800 652 8907. Orders are treated according to the availability of the goods and will be allocated upon payment. Once the availability of your purchase is confirmed you will receive an approximate delivery date.

It is your responsibility to ensure that all the goods you have ordered will fit into your home. It is essential that you check the measurements of all access areas e.g. doorways, hallways, stairs, stairwells, etc. to ensure delivery access will not restrict delivery. We are unable to refund orders which cannot be delivered due to restricted access or the items do not fit the room.

Most deliveries are executed within 1-2 weeks but some articles may take up to 4-6 weeks.

We endeavour to be as accurate as possible with our delivery approximations, however delays can occur and we will not accept claims or indemnification of any current order in respect thereof.

The Delivery Process:
Our Dispatch Department will contact you once your goods have been received into our warehouses and checked by Quality Control.

Collection of the goods from our warehouses by our haulier's normally takes place on Friday of each week (and in the event of a Bank Holiday, the first working day thereafter) and sorted at one of their dedicated depots. The haulier's logistics department will then contact you to arrange a convenient delivery date/time based on the hauliers availability in your area, usually within 5 working days after collection from M6 Beds.

Your goods are fully insured until they reach the delivery destination whereby the insurance liability falls upon the recipient. All deliveries are to doorstep only. However, in certain circumstances our hauliers may bring the goods into the premises but will not be insured and are under no obligation to do so. To ensure the delivery prices are kept low the drivers will not undertake additional tasks such as removing doors, window frames or rearranging furniture. Deliveries requiring special arrangements can sometimes be made but will be at an additional cost to you.

Important Delivery Information


If you are unavailable or unwilling to accept delivery at the delivery address on two occasions after having agreed delivery dates, we will begin to charge you storage costs of £100 per full week in respect of the undelivered goods from the date of the second failed delivery attempt. Storage charges at the same rate will apply to Customers unwilling to take delivery 3 weeks after the original due date for delivery or first booking attempt whichever is the later. We charge 100% redelivery for all goods.

If our haulier is unable to contact you after three attempts by phone, they will write to you. We shall not be responsible for delays if they are unable to contact you, so please ensure that at least two numbers are provided at the time you place your order.

If we, or our haulier, accidentally damage goods in the course of delivery then our liability for that damage is limited to the replacement of the goods or the value thereof.

Manufacturing Faults:
Any product with a manufacturing fault will be replaced in accordance with the manufacturers guarantee on a like for like basis only. No credit will be given and no alternative product will be supplied. Faulty products must be returned in suitable protective packaging by Recorded Delivery or some other traceable method. We reserve the right to reject any "faulty" product if we consider the complaint to be unreasonable, unjustified, or of the Customer's negligence or making.

These guarantees do not cover fair wear and tear; neglect; abuse or misuse of your goods; loss or damage through whatever causation, e.g. fire, smoke, sunlight, weather, rusting, corrosion, infestation via animals or boreing insects, theft, or explosion; accidental damage or consequential loss, etc. The supplier's liability is restricted to the value of replacement goods only and we will not be held liable for any consequential losses.

We will arrange to repair or replace the defective item free of charge or, at our discretion, refund the price you paid for the product. Should a product no longer be available it will be replaced with a product that closely matches it.

We will not be liable for any consequential loss or damage arising out of defective, damaged or wrongly delivered goods over and above the value of those goods.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Furniture Finish Disclaimer:
In the manufacture of some furniture natural timber and traditional treatments have been used throughout, to achieve an authentic appearance. Each item of furniture is unique in its appearance and therefore M6 Beds cannot accept responsibility for any cosmetic variations caused by this natural variability as this is a design feature and not a defect. This applies specifically where two or more articles of the same type or batch are purchased.

Some items may be unique or handcrafted from start to finish, using "old world "traditional methods of construction. The individual workmanship may cause slight differences in measurements. Solid wood is also a factor: it consistently responds to its environment. Please be aware that all if any blemishes are non-structural in nature.

Bespoke, modified or special paint finished goods may only be amended or cancelled within 48 hours otherwise M6 Beds reserve the right to charge you any additional costs we may incur in relation to your order. The additional cost shall not be more than 25% of the value of the products in question. Bespoke, modified or special paint finished goods cannot be returned after you have received them, unless they are inspected and confirmed by us as defective. Please note delivery charges relating to your original order and subsequent return will not be credited or refunded.

Every effort is made to ensure that the Products we supply correspond as closely as possible to the samples shown on line, but they may not be exactly the same. We regret that no responsibility can be accepted for any slight variations which all add to the unique features of the Products including but not limited to the following:
1. On fabric the shade may inevitably vary slightly from one printing batch to another.
2. On certain leather finishes there may be shade variations, and any small blemishes found in the leather are a unique characteristic of a natural material and not a defect or weakness. Scratches and marks may occur through everyday use; these will age over time and add to the distinguishing features of the Product.
3. Certain beds in our range are not suitable for children aged 6 and under because of the entrapment hazard .Advice should be sought from a member of staff before purchasing a bed for a child.

The M6 Beds site uses industry standard security methods to ensure that all the personal details you give us are not misused. We do not store any of your financial details, so you will need to key this information in each time you place an order.

Is it safe to use my credit card over the internet? The purchase area of our site is secure. We utilise industry standard SSL technology (Secure Sockets Layer) to guarantee a safe and secure shopping environment. All sensitive information such as credit card details, name, address, is encrypted. This means that information passed between your computer and our web site cannot be read even in the event it is intercepted by someone else.

Data Protection Information provided by you online or otherwise will be processed by M6 Beds and used to provide you with the ordered products, for billing and accounts purposes, and to keep records of the transaction.

In addition, your information may also be used for the following:

1. To keep you informed about M6 Beds products, promotions and services.
2. To receive information from other carefully selected companies. We will only use your information for 1 and 2 above if you have given your consent.

Personal Information
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We only collect information about you to process your order. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. The following information is collected: your name, address, phone number, email address, credit/debit card details, IP address. Your name, address, phone number and email address are stored in order to speed up your checkout when making future purchases from us. You can check and amend the information that we hold about you when making future purchases. You will have to enter your credit/debit card details each time you make an online purchase from us. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with applicable UK and European laws.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Our Contracts
1. All our contracts with customers are on these conditions to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions.

2. These conditions apply to all M6 Beds' sales and any variation to these conditions and any representations about the goods shall have no effect unless expressly agreed in writing and signed by a duly authorised officer of. By making an order M6 Beds' (whether by telephone, e-mail, post or in person) the customer acknowledges that it has not relied on any statement, promise or representation made or given by or on behalf M6 Beds' of which is not set out in the contract. Nothing in this condition shall exclude or limit 's liability for fraudulent misrepresentation.

3. Each order or acceptance of a quotation by the customer shall be deemed to be an offer by the Customer to buy the goods subject to these conditions.

4. The contract shall be governed by English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Purchases / Orders
1. All orders must be completed with full details of the customer's address, telephone numbers and e-mail.

2. All prices on our website include 17.5% VAT.

3. For goods in stock, payment must be made in full including the delivery charge.

4. We aim to keep everything in stock We aim to be as accurate as we can with delivery estimates but they are not binding. Delays may occur in shipping which we have no control of and we ask our customers to be patient should unforeseen delays occur.

Refunds
1. For all purchases/orders made at a distance i.e over the phone or by e-mail, customers are entitled to a full refund (but not later than 7 working days after the day after you receive the goods) by sending a written notice of cancellation to us (or as otherwise provided by law). In such event the customer is liable to pay for the cost of returning the goods. The goods must be returned to M6 Beds in the condition they were delivered in before a full refund is issued.

2. Refunds will not be given for any purchases in our shop or any specialist orders.

3. M6 Beds will refund any damages reported within 24 hours of delivery. M6 Beds will then aim either to replace the damaged item immediately or, if this is not possible as a replacement is out of stock, to give a full refund.

4. M6 Beds will not refund goods simply because they do not match, suit or fit or because they are unsuitable to the position the customer envisaged. Each piece is ordered for you and cannot be returned to the manufacturer. We ask all our customers to check their measurements and access to avoid disappointment.

Delivery
1. Deliveries are only ever made by two delivery people who are not insured or authorised to deliver anywhere other than to the threshold of the property or to assist with transferring the goods into the customer's property.

2. Deliveries are made by either M6 Beds or by a 3rd party specialist furniture courier. Days and times for delivery are estimates only and shall not be made of the essence by notice.

3. On delivery you will be asked to sign a delivery note to say that the goods have been received in good order and that all ordered goods have been delivered. If there is not sufficient time to check goods for damages we ask that customers inform us within 24 hours of damages so that a replacement can be sent out or a refund can be given.

4. Goods will only be brought to the threshold of any property. It is the customers responsibility to arrange for the goods to be arranged within the property and is not the responsibility of M6 Beds drivers or 3rd party couriers.

5. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all ordered goods fit into the home and that there is no restricted access. M6 Beds cannot accept refunds for goods that cannot fit into the home or cannot be delivered due to access, unsuitability or any fault of the customer.

6. Subject to the other provisions of these conditions M6 Beds shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss (all three of which terms include, without limitation, pure economic loss, loss of profits, loss of business, depletion of goodwill and similar loss), costs, damages, charges or expenses caused directly or indirectly by any delay in the delivery, nor shall any delay entitle the customer to terminate or rescind the contract, unless such delay exceeds 180 days.

7. If for any reason the customer fails to accept delivery of any of the goods when they are delivered or M6 Beds is unable to deliver the goods on time (because the customer has not provided appropriate access, instructions, documents, licences or authorisations) risk in the goods shall pass to the customer (including for loss or damage caused by M6 Beds negligence); the goods shall be deemed to have been delivered; and M6 Beds may, but need not, store the goods until delivery, and if it does provide such storage, the customer shall be liable for all related costs and expenses (including, without limitation, storage and insurance) at a cost of £20 per fortnight.

Risk / Title
1. The goods are at the risk of the customer from the time of delivery or attempted delivery.

2. Ownership of the goods shall not pass to the customer until M6 Beds has received in full (in cash or cleared funds) all sums due to it in respect of the goods; and all other sums which are or which become due to M6 Beds from the customer on any

Care
1. All warranties, conditions and other terms implied by statute or common law (save for the conditions implied by section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979) are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from the contract.

2. Nothing in these conditions excludes or limits the liability of M6 Beds: 1 for death or personal injury caused by M6 Beds' negligence; or under section 2(3), Consumer Protection Act 1987; or for any matter which it would be illegal for M6 Beds to exclude or attempt to exclude its liability; or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

3. Subject to the above M6 Beds' total liability in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise, arising in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of the contract shall be limited to the contract price; and M6 Beds shall not be liable to the customer for any pure economic loss, loss of profit, loss of business, depletion of goodwill or otherwise, in each case whether direct, indirect or consequential, or any claims for consequential compensation whatsoever (howsoever caused) which arise out of or in connection with the contract.

Force Majeure
M6 Beds reserves the right to defer the date of delivery or to cancel the contract (without liability to the customer) if it is prevented from or delayed in the carrying on of its business due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of M6 Beds.
